Our Mission

How We Help

At St. Vincent de Paul Archdiocese of Santa Fe we are on a mission to house, feed, clothe, and advocate. We give relational support and essential needs assistance to those living in vulnerable conditions.

When a neighbor in need calls our helpline, they will be asked for basic information, including zip code. We will then try to pair them with one of our almost 40 SVdP working groups across the Archdiocese who will make contact, arrange a visit, and see how we might be able to best support. These working groups function almost exclusively off of funds raised from local churches and community, as well revenues from our Thrift Stores. Our general scope of assistance extends to eviction prevention (rental assistance), utilities, food, clothing, furniture, firewood, and medication purchase, though we don’t often help with all of these needs at once, and not all working groups are able to support with all of these areas of need.

At SVdP, we are here as neighbors helping neighbors to support our community to stay housed, fed, and clothed. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please don’t hesitate to call us.

Who We Serve

St. Vincent de Paul Archdiocese of Santa Fe New Mexico serves everyone in need regardless of race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, criminal justice status, disability, marital status, national origin, age, physical handicaps or political opinions.

When people need help, we’ll be there. St. Vincent de Paul serves everyone. Period.
